Yes, all paintings are original works signed by the artist. We strive to bring you the highest quality works of art at affordable prices.
What are my payment options?
We accept payment by PayPal, as it is at present the most secure and efficient online payment processing system. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay by credit card through PayPal without opening an account. We don't ever have access to your credit card details, these are handled by PayPal in a secure SSL environment.
Personal cheques are also acceptable, but obviously this is a much slower process. Simply email us to let us know the painting you wish to pay for and we will hold it until the cheque clears.
And, of course, the old fashioned system of hard cash is also acceptable if you're in the Dublin area and fancy popping in to collect your goods. Just email or phone in advance to arrange an appointment.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
No, we ship worldwide for free. Once you have completed the checkout procedure, your order will be packed securely and shipped to your mailing address within 24 hours. An e-mail will be sent to you confirming delivery.
How long does delivery take?
Most paintings are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of your order (Monday through Friday). Once the order leaves our location, Air Mail delivery time from us to your country usually ranges from 1-2 weeks.
What if the art doesn't look the same in my house as it did on the monitor?
It won't. Let's just get that question settled now. For starters, the colours won't be quite the same. It will have texture. And the values (light and dark) will be different. Colours on screen can be quite different from the real thing and laser or inkjet printers will be different again. We go to great lengths to try to represent the paintings as accurately as possible on the site, minimising the difference between the real thing and the screen representation. If your delivery arrives and it's really not what you expected - which, incidentally, hasn't happened yet - our money back guarantee is there to ensure you're not stuck with something you don't like.
What precautions are taken to ship the paintings safely to customers?
You can rest assured that your painting will arrive safely. Each piece is packed by hand with ample protective measures.
What if I don't like the painting received?
Hype.ie has a 10-Day Money Back Guarantee. We try to do everything possible to ensure our clients are pleased with their purchases and our services. A 10-Day Return Policy makes your purchase at Hype.ie completely risk free. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund, by notifying us within ten days of receipt of the artwork. I like a painting but I want to buy it later. Can you hold it for my future order?
Yes. To hold a painting please e-mail us at info@hype.ie and tell us which painting you would like to hold for a future order. We can hold paintings for up to 1 month only.
Are the paintings framed?
Unless otherwise stated, paintings are unframed because our experience is that buyers prefer unframed canvasses or they like to organise their own framing if so desired. If you would like to purchase a painting and have it framed, please let us know by email info@hype.ie. Tell us which painting you are interested in, and we will send you more information about framing options and costs.
Do you do commissioned work?
Yes, I undertake commissions on a regular basis. The challenge here is ensuring that both parties are clear as to exactly what is wanted, so communication is key. Sometimes a client might like a particular work that has already been sold and they would like something similar. Obviously, no two pieces are alike, but I can create a new work based on a previous piece - similar color scheme, content or mood. Price will be agreed beforehand, and obviously if the client is not completely satisfied with the final result they will get a full refund.
